Referring Physicians
Patients are required by insurance to obtain a physician’s prescription prior to beginning therapy. Our referring physicians include: hand surgeons, orthopedic surgeons, plastic surgeons, general surgeons, occupational medicine doctors, rheumatologists, family practice doctors or internists, oncologists,
neurologists, Ob-Gyn physicians and Pediatricians.

Insurance Coverage
Selective Rehab participates in a wide number of insurance plans including workers’ compensation, Medicare and private insurance plans. Most treatment is covered by your insurance plan although often a co-pay or coinsurance is required at the time of service. Some Insurance may not cover for Supplies or splinting material cost which will be the patient’s responsibility and an out-of-pocket expense to the patient. Please discuss your individual issues with your insurance carrier and us.
